I am downloading Razor right now and am VERY EXCITED about it.  It's at 9%.  I really hope it gets done tonight.

Note to self: You must write SOMETHING about Thanksgiving break.

Last night was Halloween.  And last night, kicked ass.

First, there was the Knitting Illini meeting while wearing costumes.  Then five of us (because we were wearing costumes and felt like just going back to our apartments would be wasting them) decided to grab a drink or two at Legend's.  That was a mistake because, apparently, at eight on a Wednesday, only guys are out at the bars.  So here we are, five girls in a bar full of guys.  I swear, within two minutes of sitting down we already had one slightly drunk guy trying to talk us up.  We got him to go away by showing no interest, but that, for some reason, made two of his friends think they had a chance.  We all started calling guy friends or boyfriends and begging them to come to Legend's as soon as possible to make them go away.  After finding out that we all had boyfriends, they left pretty quickly.  Thankfully.  It was still pretty fun watching them try to impress us.  I mean, c'mon, a bass fisherman?!  That was supposed to impress us?

Allison, Tristan and I left Legend's and headed over to the guy's apartment where we watched South Park and such.  Then...we went back to Legend's.  haha

This time was more fun, though.  There were a lot more people in costume.  Some of them were pretty good, like the people on bikes riding around outside as Pacman and the ghosts.  I also saw someone dressed in a really good Captain Morgan costume.  But...there were also bad ones too.  What I want to know is, whenever you see some guy dressed in a costume that contains very little material, why is he usually fat?  Example: last night there was a guy dressed up as Adam, as in Adam and Eve.  And he was a rather big guy.  Why?  I have to know!

But yeah, it was a really fun night.  No one knew who Allison and I were, though.  That was kind of a bummer.  I took photos; I plan on posting them later today.  Hopefully.

Now...time to start planning for next Halloween.  Any ideas?

Well, I finally bit the bullet and signed up for the GRE. I should have done it a lot earlier, but...well, I didn't.

And, apparently, U of I is a very busy testing center and they didn't have any dates open until December. Soooo...Scott and I are heading to Springfield on the 6th of November.

Quick quote that I overheard from the Colbert Report that's playing in the other room:

"An apple a day keeps anyone away...if you throw it hard enough."

I saw this and I thought of Allison. Not that she would ever do this, though. Right?
